Ordering
Orders are placed using the Shop page of the website. Select your design and use the options available on the page to create your final pair. If you are looking to purchase 10+ pairs together then please get in contact first.
If you can't find the design you're after, or you're looking to create a design from scratch then use the contact form to let me know your ideas. A personal custom order will be set up on the website for you to purchase for your agreed deisgn or an invoice can be emailed to you which can be paid by credit/debit card or bank transfer.
The current order processing time is 4-5 weeks for shoes and 1-2 working days for shoelaces. This time frame is subject to change and will be increased during busy periods so please order in plenty of time to avoid disappointment.
Delivery
UK deliveries will be sent using a Tracked 24/48hr Service. You will receive a tracking code for the Royal Mail website once your order has been dispatched.
UK delivery is usually 1-3 working days.
Small international orders (1-2 pairs) will be sent by Royal Mail International Tracked Service, and large international orders will be fulfilled by another carrier (TNT, FedEx, DPD or DHL). You will be emailed the exact carrier details and the tracking code once your order has been dispatched.
European delivery estimate: 7-10 working days from dispatch.
- Items sent to the EU will be subject to import VAT charges. These will currently need to be paid on the arrival of your parcel at the country border. You will be contacted by your local postal service with details on the amount and payment methods available to cover these additional charges.
- Custom Converse cannot be held responsible for any delays to the delivery of your item due to late payments of import charges.
Worldwide delivery estimate: 10-14 working days from dispatch.
Custom Converse cannot be held responsible for any delays in the delivery of your order. Please get in contact if your order fails to arrive after 25 working days from the dispatch date.
Returns
Due to the bespoke made to order nature of Custom Converse we cannot accept returns or offer exchanges on shoes so it is essential that your sizing is correct. Size charts are available to view on every product page and are specific to the brand of shoe you are purchasing.
Each pair are created as an individually commissioned piece and we do not hold stock of any designs.
Orders placed for gift cards are non-refundable and can only be redeemed on www.custom-converse.co.uk
Individual pairs of shoelaces and accessories can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Return postage is at the cost of the customer and refunds will not be issued until the item has been received. Please return items to the following address and email sales@custom-converse.co.uk with your order number and the item you are returning.

Payment is needed in full before your order will reach the processing stage. Cancellation of your order, or changes to the details of your order can be made upon request, however cannot be fulfilled if your order is already undergoing customisation. We recommend getting in contact to make changes to or cancel your order within 48 hours of order placement.
Payment
Orders completed through the Shop page can be paid for by one of the secure payment methods provided: PayPal, Klarna, Credit/Debit card through Revolut. If you don't have an account with either of these providers get in contact and I can email an invoice to you which can also be paid by bank transfer.
Custom request orders confirmed via email will be paid for by a PayPal or an invoice sent direct to your email account.
You will receive an order confirmation email from us when your payment has gone through. Please check your junk and spam folders for these emails. If you haven't received either of these please get in contact.
Are the shoes genuine branded pairs?
Yes. I source genuine branded pairs to ensure you receive the best quality. However I am in no way associated with any of these brands and have no links to the companies.
What is my UK shoe size?
Size charts are available to view on every product page and are specific to the brand of shoe you are purchasing. Click here to see the full list of size charts for Converse, Nike, Vans and Adidas.
What do the different font styles look like?
Are the designs waterproof?
Yes. They are painted with acrylic or specialist leather paint which is waterproof once dry. I would not advise machine washing – just to be on the safe side!
Can I send you my own shoes to be painted?
Yes! If you already have a pair of Converse, Vans, Nike, Dr Martens (any brand you'd like!) which you would like customising then get in contact. I will provide you with the address you need to send them to and a quote for the design you would like.
Crystals
We have a range of coloured crystals which can be added to your shoes. The crystals we use are considered to be the highest quality product on the market, helping to achieve the best sparkle possible.
Pairs with added crystals should not be left in over heated areas such as direct sun light or near radiators, as this can result in the glue softening which can make the crystals slide, and possibly become loose or fall off.
To clean your shoes simply use a damp cloth to lightly wipe over the crystals. If dirt gets in the gaps we suggest a lightly dampened cotton bud to wipe away any debris. Do NOT pick at the crystals as this will cause them to fall off.
We will include a few spare crystals with each order for you to use to make repairs.
